September 2009 Board Dinner
This year the board gathered at the Washington Golf and County Club for the annual board dinner and golf outing. It was a wonderful affair in a beautiful setting.

June 2009 Luncheon featuring Robert Hale
On June 4, 2009, the Washington DC Chapter of NDIA presented the Metropolitan Washington DC USO a check for $38,000 -- a record donation for the Chapter. Rick Randall and David Longley presented the check to USO President Elaine Rogers.
Following the check presentation, Chapter members received an update on Deparment of Defense financial priorities from the Undersectary of Defense (Comptroller) and Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Department of Defense, the Honorable Robert F. Hale.

Washington DC Chapter of NDIA 2009 USO Golf Tournament
The Washington DC Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association held its annual golf tournament in support of the USO on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. The tournament generated record donation of $38,000 for the Metro Washington DC USO.
Two hundred and ten participants from some 48 companies fielded 60 foursomes. Twelve Wounded Warriors played, as well as 14 government guests.
